LASHBLAST MASCARA

I am really liking Lashbast Mascara. It just seems to stick to my lashes making them look really full. My lashes are pretty long already but I've always lacked fullness. The wand feels really different at first because it's really wide and has tiny little nodules on it. It took a little getting used to but well worth it. The more Layers you put on the thicker your lashes are. Here is a before and after. One with Voluminous Mascara by Loreal and then of course Lashblast by Cover Girl.
Loreal Voluminous:

Cover Girl Lashblast:

The Big thing to remember here is that when it comes to mascara buying expensive high end mascara really isn't necessary you can get some really good quality mascara for under $10 at your local drugstore or Walmart.

NUDE LIPS

Hi there, so I wanted to post my new find. My very favorite lipstick right now is MYTH by MAC. I really like a nude mouth. With this lipstick I can add a light pink liner and lipgloss and make it more pink or a darker berry colored lipgloss and make it look darker, or I could wear a pink lipstick like Angel (MAC) and add a touch of Myth in the center of the bottom lip to add a highlight. So I found a color that is very similar, It's Revlon Matte in the color Nude attitude. You can play it up however you want with different liners or lip gloss. I have really wanted to try Creme De Nude by MAC but I'm pretty sure this is really close. Myth is a little more pink but just slightly. But it's a great color if you are looking for Nude Lips.

MAKEOVER MADNESS!!

Okay today is makeover madness day! :) Today my makeover was on Jennifer. She started out blonde, and need to add some dark for the winter. In the summer its always good to go a lighter summery color and winter should be a little darker especially on blondes because the sun naturally lightens blonde hair and in the winter, here in the northwest, we don't get much sun at all so your hair doesn't get much of the natural highlights so the roots can be darker...

The colors I used:

Ultra Light Blonde
Honey Blonde
Medium Warm Brown

Before:

During:

After:

For Makeup I used:

Studio Fix Fluid MAC NC25
Coastal Scents Eye Palette (Browns, grays and black)
White shimmery eyeshadow for highlighting inner corner and brow bone
Cool Light brown color for eyebrows
Blush Peachykeen MAC
Blunt MAC to Contour
and Underage MAC Lipgloss with a pink lip liner

Thanks Jennifer for your Beautiful Canvass to work with. I'm glad I made you feel pretty!

Makeup Brushes

I wanted to share my great find. I bought this set of Borghese brushes at Costco for $19.99. Comes with:

Large Powder Brush
Flat-Top Bronzer Brush
Angled Foundation Brush
Eye Shadow Brush
Eye Blending Brush
Flat Eyeliner
Eye Smudger
Brow Brush and Spooley Duo
Eyelash Curler
Brush Case

and also includes a Premium Travel Brush set with a blush brush eyeshadow and blending brush and a flat brush.

This is a perfect starter kit.

What a steal, I will do a review in about a week.

Dupe for MAC's Angel Lipstick

So from watching a few you tube videos I've learned that Kim Kardashian's favorite lipstick is Angel from MAC. It's a really pretty pink it has a creamy texture and its glossy. Well a few weeks back I bought a Maybeline Lipstick that's called " Born with It" and it's almost the exact same color and the texture is very similar, and it's half the price with the same look. :)

Halloween!!!

Well here we are already November. Halloween was fun Clete and I were Dog the bounty Hunter and Beth, his wife, we went to Smeads in Washougal down the road from our house. :) I smile because we have just moved in together. It's a whole new adventure on its own. With us and all 5 kids. Almost like the brady bunch.

Well here is a picture from our Halloween night. For makeup I used Revlon Colorstay Foundation, I used "Well dressed" blush and "Blunt" blush to contour from MAC, for eyeshadow I used some pink and purples and black in the crease from the Coastal Scents 88 Pallette, I "erased" my eyebrows with a glue stick and used light brown for my eyebrows. For lipstick I used "Pretty Please" from MAC with a maybeline raisin color lipliner. I also used a shimmery white color for the inner corners of my eyes and brow bone and Highlighted cheeks with Shell from MAC.

Welcome to my Vanity
