Laura Mercier Oil Free Foundation-Review
Here are my thoughts on the Laura Mercier Foundation. I think this is a great foundation for normal skin. I have combo normal to oily skin so I'm always on the lookout for a foundation that absorbs oil and is long wearing. For me this foundation is a very nice foundation for the first few hours and after that it turns into an oily mess. Its a bit expensive at $42.00. There are 12 shades. I am in Sunny Beige. It comes in a glass bottle and it comes with a pump which is very convenient and very sanitary. It blends very nicely and consistency is a thin liquid. I think this is a medium coverage foundation with a satin finish. It does however take a long time to dry so it feels a little masky on the skin. When it finally does dry it looks a little cakey in areas, which is why I don't think it would be good for dry skin. This is not a long wearing foundation. This foundation has kaolin clay, which is used in most beauty masks, it evens out skin tone and makes me skin look amazing when I take my makeup off which is like having a treatment on your face during the day. So this foundation is great if you have normal skin, looking for a medium coverage and you are looking to improve the condition of your skin.
