KISS - HALLOWEEN TIME!!

I love Halloween its one of my favorite times of the year.  I love dressing up with crazy makeup and helping the kids pick out their costumes and makeup.  They both decided to be Gene Simmons from KISS today for their Halloween Party at school.  Hopefully they don't scare any of the younger kids....

SEPTEMBER FAVORITES

Well so far its off to a great start with some new products that I am enjoying so much.  First off is my new Este Lauder Double Wear foundation.  I love this foundation it has great full coverage and you don't need alot, a little really does go a long way and unlike some other long wear foundations its easy to blend and once it dries, it has like a smooth almost powdery finish.  You really don't need to use a powder with this to set it, but I do use the Mineralize Skinfinish Natural so it isn't so Matte.  But don't get me wrong my favorite kind of foundations are ones that have a matte finish.
    
Ok next is my Chi 44 iron guard and serum.  I love the way it makes me hair feel, It feels healthy full of body and really soft.  I think this is probably going to be a holy grail item.  I used the Paul Mitchell serum for the past couple years so I guess it's time to make a change. 

     My new favorite eyebrow product is MAC's paintpot in Quite Natural, I love it.

     I also just purchased a new perfume that I really love.  Its I'ssey Miyake and it smells so fresh and good and I think it's the perfect fall/ winter perfume, but I was kind of surprised at the price, it was $92.00 it seems like it was a bit pricey I was expecting like $60.00 to $79.00. 

EYELINER COMPARISON REVIEW

Top: Loreal Extra Intense Pencil eyeliner $8.49

Middle: Stila Eye Kajal in Onyx $18.00

Bottom: MAC Eye Kohl in Smolder $14.50

Ok so here's the deal I swatched these and then about an hour later I swiped my finger across them to see how the smudging was.  I have to say as far as staying power on the skin the Loreal definately beat out the other two.  You don't need to use a black eyeshadow over the top like you would the other two if you were putting them on your skin.  I really had to work hard to rub it off with my finger and didn't completely come off until I washed my hands really well.  As far as the water line I would definately say in my opinion the Stila Eye Kajal beat out the other two it stays on my water line for the majority of the day still looking intense.  I think as far as the consistency I would say MAC won over the others because the product itself is not as soft as the other two but glides on really easy.  Stila is the softest in my opinion and doesn't work that well for me lining the top lash line it smudges to much but my favorite as far as the waterline.

Here's my conclusion

1. STILA Pro: Best for Waterline Con: Smudges to much for Top lash line/PRICE

2. LOREAL Pro:  Doesn't smudge stays on all day GREAT price Con: really hard to wash off

3.  MAC Pro:  Perfect in between eye pencil /price in between as well Con: NONE

So here you go depending on what you are looking for All are very intense black eyeliners all are great at different things.

BENEFIT LIP PLUMP REVIEW

I've been using Benefit Lip plump alot lately, not really for plumping my lips but to nude out the lips adding lipliner and lipgloss to make a really nice look.  I am going to post pictures of before, at 5 minutes, at 10 minutes and at 20 minutes.  I'll let you be the judge.  In my opinion it tingles just a little tiny bit maybe just a little cool feeling but not as much as I've heard from other reviews, maybe it just doesn't work on my lips or they aren't as sensitive, but from the pictures it looks to me like they look a little bigger because nude mouths usually gives a more plump appearance and the sheen that it gives around the lip also illuminates them.  As far as making them more plump I guess it would depend from person to person.  But as for me I can see a little difference but I mainly like it for the nude look.  But at @ $22.00 I could probably stick with Myth Lipstick from MAC for $14, and highlight around the edges with a highlighting powder or eyeshadow.
